Running all the way from Wrexham to Congleton, the A534 passes through great countryside, stunning views and some historic towns and villages.
Starting at Wrexham, head towards Nantwich passing Bickerton Hill (a great place for walking), you can carry on through Nantwich and Crewe on the A534 or bypass the town centres on the A51 and the A500 (if bypassing Crewe, turn onto the A5020) picking up the A534 on the other side.
Then its on to Sandbach where you could stop to see the Sandbach Crosses, two Anglo-Saxon crosses standing in the Market Place. After passing Sandbach, you cross the M6 and your on the final strech to Congleton.
