The Cat and Fiddle Inn, second highest inn in England, lends it's name to the A537 which passes of the hills separating the Peak District’s "Derbyshire Dales" from Staffordshire and the Cheshire Plain to the west.
The Cat has long been a meeting spot for bikers, walkers, cyclists and welcomes all into the lounge bar and restaurant or the snug Moorland bar suitable for your outdoor clothing and footwear.
The A537 is known as one of the most dangerous roads in the area, but if taken at a steady, safe pace, this road gives all you would expect from a race track, but with the spectacular views to take in at the top.
