Starting at the Walls of Chester to the Hills of the Peak District, this route takes you through some of Cheshire's most sceinic countryside to the rolling hills of the Peak District at Buxton.
This route takes you through Nantwich, Crewe, Sandbach and Congleton, towns with a history you can see in the buildings, streets and museums along the way.
Starting at Chester you take the A51 through Tarporley onto the A49 briefly before continuing back onto the A51 to Nantwich. Continue onto the A500 if you don't want a trip into the town centre, then turn onto the A534 through Crewe, Sandbach onto Congleton where you pickup the A54. Continue along the A54 through Bosley into the hills of the Peak District to Buxton.
Note: the local authority has installed Average Speed Cameras along the A54.
