Leek, also known as `The Queen of the Moorlands`, is located on the south western edge of the Peak District, and stands on a hill with the River Churnet taking the long way round.
Surrounded by some of the finest hill, moor and dale scenery to be found in this part of Staffordshire, Leek and the surrounding area has a great deal to offer the outdoors adventurer.
Leek is easily accessible from Macclesfield and Chester. If you are travelling via the M6, take Junction 17 at Sandbach
From Macclesfield, take the A523 which takes you directly into Leek.
From Chester, take the A51 turning onto the A54 at Tarvin. Continue on the A54 through Winsford, Middlewich and Holmes Chapel to Congleton and then continue onto the A34 breifly turning onto Rood Hill just after Tesco. After passing through Congleton pick the A54 up again towards Macclesfield, turning onto the A523 at the cross roads, which will take you directly into Leek.
From the M6 - Junction 17, take the A534 to Congleton and continue onto the A34 breifly turning onto Rood Hill just after Tesco. After passing through Congleton pick the A54 up again towards Macclesfield, turning onto the A523 at the cross roads, which will take you directly into Leek.
