Crewe originally a rail town with work, is home to Crewe Alexandra FC, the Crewe Heritage Centre (the old railway works yard), and Bentley Motors.
The Crewe Heritage Centre is on the old Railway works yard, where it holds a number of transport and local heritage exhibits including a prototype Bentley Continental GT in British racing green, officially worth the grand some of one pound (but worth a lot more un-officially).
Crewe is easily accessible from Chester and Whitchurch. If you are travelling via the M6, take Junction 16 via the A500.
From Chester , take the A51 through Tarporley to Nantwich. At Nantwich take the A500 for a few miles, then get onto the A534 which will take you directly to Crewe.
From Whitchurch, take the A525, continue onto the A530 and carry onto Nantwich. Continue through Nantwich and turn onto the A534 which will take you directly to Crewe.
From the M6 - Junction 16, take the A500 towards Crewe and turn onto the A5020 which will take you directly to Crewe.
