Circling Chester City Centre, Chester Walls bring visitors from all over the globe. First made of wood to defend the Roman Fort in 79AD, they have been replaced by stronger stone, and rebuilt over the years.

The current walls are mainly from the medieval and Victorian times, although the earliest surviving sections date back to 120AD, and the most recent section was constructed around 1960s.
